GUE/NGL Video Request: how is the crisis affecting you?
Posted on 24 April 2013
(Brussels, 24 April 2013) Women’s stories on Austerity - Invitation to submit video messagesThe European United Left/Nordic Green Left in the European Parliament is in different ways seeking to highlight the ways in which the crisis and austerity measures are affecting women’s rights.
In view of our hearing on "Working women - precariousness and unemployment" on 4 June 2013, we would like to collect life testimonies on video.
We would like to hear from women of all ages and backgrounds from across Europe about how the crisis and the austerity measures are affecting them - be it in access to work, housing, health, or other! Through short video contributions, 2-3 minutes, women are asked to submit their own stories.
Our aim is to have a collection of short videos that can on the one hand be screened at the conference itself, but also later published on our GUE/NGL web site and/or our You tube stream.
The video contribution does not have to be high tech, but can be recorded via a computer or even hand held devices (smart phones) if you don’t have access to video cameras. The video can then be emailed to us in .mov format or .avi format. malin.bjork@europarl.europa.eu Stay tuned for deadline details.
